Immigration Policy and Human Rights Series

On November 13th, ADCSSJ sponsored Immigration Policy and Human Rights, held from 6-8 pm in Mayo Concert Hall.  Adriana Abizadeh, Executive Director of LALDEF (The Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund), presented a talk, Direct Service Amidst Policy Craze.  Doug Massey, Henry G. Bryant Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University, held a keynote address, Myths, Media, and Alternative Facts: Immigration Policy in a Post-Truth Era.

Clybourne Park at TCNJ

On October 18th, the ADCSSJ faculty gathered for dinner and attended a showing of Clybourne Park, performed at TCNJ’s Black Box Theater.  The Center co-sponsored the event in support of Shakespeare ‘70s, a community theater company who has performed at TCNJ for many years.
